At Plan B Training Solutions we have carefully considered all factors concerning COVID-19 and how we can continue to operate with our students safety and wellbeing at the forefront of our efforts. Read below to see what measures we have in place to ensure your time with us is safe during the Coronavirus outbreak. These measures will be updated as the situation develops and based on guidance from our regulators and State and Federal Governments. If you have any concerns please feel free to contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org or 03 4222 8716
In line with government instructions – Plan B Training Solutions have closed our Campbellfield campus and will only be running courses out of our Geelong campus until further notice.
Any student who has booked onto a course at Campbellfield will be able to reschedule at a later date for free. Please get in touch if you wish to discuss an individual case with our team.
From 11.59pm Wednesday 22nd July face masks are mandatory for everyone leaving their homes in the Melbourne Metro and Mitchell Shire restriction areas. We have supplies of disposable face masks for our students to use for free. Students are also free to bring their own face mask that complies with the current guidance.
We have an abundant supply of hand sanitiser available for free for our students and visitors.
At Plan B Training Solutions we always keep our course sizes as small as possible to ensure the highest quality of training and proper attention is given from our course leaders. This will continue as normal with classes being capped at numbers that allow us to practice social distancing (see below).
All our staff will be practicing good hygiene as per Government guidelines. We are following the best practice guidance as issued by the World Health Organisation (WHO) the details of which can be found here.
Our staff have been coached on social distancing methods including minimising unnecessary physical contact with students, maintaining distances of at least 1.5m where possible and preventing students changing desks during their short stay with us.
We have increased our cleaning schedule. Currently our open training centres are cleaned regularly throughout the day with particular attention to cleaning of surfaces, student desks and communal areas. We use medical grade disinfectant during our regular cleaning.
We have increased the amount of breaks during our Geelong courses to ensure that students and staff have enough time to practice good hygiene. The frequency of breaks will allow all to practice the recommended hygiene actions. Our students are free at any time during their course to take a break if they feel the need.
Any communal kitchen equipment is cleaned regularly by our staff. Students are free to bring their own utensils, cup or plates if they prefer.
Currently we have ample supplies of cleaning products, sanitisers and toilet rolls. These are accessible to all or students and staff to use. If you notice any shortages at our training centres please let a member of staff know and they will replenish.
Any kitchen or communal areas will be thoroughly cleaned throughout the day to ensure a safe working environment for both students and staff. Our Geelong campus has ample indoor and outdoor areas to use.
We understand that the current situation has some people concerned. If you have booked a class with us and do not wish to attend in the current climate then there will be no extra charges or rescheduling fees applied. Please contact a member of our Sales Team on 03 4222 8716 and they will schedule you in for another time.
On 16th March 2020 a self imposed quarantine of 14 days is required for all people entering Australia from oversees. Therefore any student who has recently entered Australia from overseas will not be permitted to attend a class within that 14 day timeframe. Please note that there are significant fines of up to $20,000 in Victoria for any individual who is found to be in breach of the self isolation requirements.
During this uncertain time you can rest assured that you will still receive the same high level of customer service as normal. If you have any concerns or questions that are not covered in the above then please contact us on email@example.com or 03 4222 8716.
Please get in touch if you have any additional concerns on questions regarding COVID and our currently operating courses.
